Junko Nakaya
"Jun Sui" means pure in Japanese - Junko was named after this Japanese word.
" For Junko Yoga is the pure essence of life. "
Junko was born and grew up in Japan; in 1988 aged 23 she immigrated to Australia. Yoga has been a deep and special part of her daily life since moving to Byron Bay in 2000.  Junko connected with Rachel Zinman in 2005 and completed the Byron Bay ISHTA System Yoga Teacher Training and went on to participate in the Advanced ISHTA System Apprenticeship with Rachel in 2005 to 2006.  Through teaching Yoga Junko realised many people suffer from their body & mind being out of balance she has learned to heal these imbalances   energetically by using a technique developed by Vienna Stibal known as "Theta healing. "Junko is currently based in Sydney teaching private and corporate sessions, she is also translating and assisting Rachel Zinman on the ISHTA System Japanese Cultural Exchange Teacher Training sessions in Byron Bay.

Kanako Yajima
Coming to Byron Bay lead by the passion for Yoga has changed her life in so many ways and on so many levels.
Over the 10 months she stayed in Byron Bay, on top of completing the Yogalates teacher training that she originally went there for, she studied philosophy and Chinese Qi-Gong style yoga personally with Peter Clifford who became her life friend and teacher and was introduced to Rachel and Ishta Yoga through one of the wonderful friends she met during her journey. She decided to join the Japanese teacher training team as interpreter using her bilingual language ability and the knowledge of yoga. As part of preparation for the job, she participated in Byron Bay ISHTA System Yoga Teacher Training in October 2006.
She believes that everyone has a beautiful space deep in the heart and the mind where true happiness and pure love come from… and Yoga can help us get reconnected to that “peace within”.
She is now back in Tokyo where she teaches both Yogalates (combination of Yoga & Pilates) and Qi-Gong style Yoga.
