Shakti Malas are designed to enhance your personal energy. Unique and beautiful each Shakti Mala is composed of sandalwood beads, semiprecious stones, pearls, bone, Czech glass, rudraksha beads, and strung on a silk thread. Traditionally a mala is made up of 108 beads, these 108 beads are said to represent the cosmos, the 12 astrological signs multiplied by the nine planets in our solar system. You can use your Shakti Malas to chant a chosen mantra or just wear one for its beauty and
harmonizing qualities.

Shakti Malas come in four varieties:

	A deity Mala - A knotted necklace made from, glass and semi-precious beads, sandalwood and rudraksha beads with a chosen deity strung on silk thread
	A deity choker - hand-painted deities in a silver setting with semi-precious stones, glass, sandalwood and rudraksha and spacer beads strung on nylon coated stainless steel wire.
	Classic Mala - 108 bead Mala with knots, Guru tassel, rudraksha, semi-precious stones, pearl and sandalwood beads strung on silk thread (can be worn doubled).
	Plain Mala - 108 bead Mala with Guru tassel, rudraksha, semi-precious stones, pearl, sandalwood beads and made without knots strung on silk thread or nylon coated stainless steel wire.

As each Mala is made specifically for you. Length, colors and pendants can be chosen when ordering.

When Rachel creates a necklace for someone the beads take her on a personal meditative journey. Each bead is chosen as she tunes in to the spirit of the person who will be wearing the Mala. As she strings the Mala she meditates and then wears each necklace to energize it with her own Shakti. Even when a Mala is not personalized the Mala has been energized with Shakti and Love.
